Shortly About Me

AIPS Da’i, or more familiar called Intan, is a writer and activist for the issue of women and gender equality. As a person with a psychosocial disability, Intan is involved in the movement through her writing about this issue with the correlation of law. Born on August 29, 2001, since middle school, Intan has actively written about women and gender equality issues against patriarchy in Islamic culture. And with her writing skill, Intan has won several awards in various issues. Intan also contributes as a writer, interpreter, and translator to several NGOs focusing on women’s rights and gender identity issues.
Currently, Intan is studying in a law school in Jakarta. She is also strengthening her capacity and knowledge about disability issues, especially women with disabilities who are victims of violence. She started to participate in contributing to Remisi as a writer, and is now the editor for Remisi.
