Hisyam Ikhtiar Mulia is an experienced researcher with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Adept in policy-research methodologies and data analysis. With 8+ years of experience in developing policy research, policy outreach programs, and sophisticated translation of research into briefs, Hisyam is adept in the policy advocacy field. As a person with multiple disabilities who works in disability advocacy and Human Rights-based research, Hisyam has been active in the research & advocacy field since 2019 through his involvement in the law-making process. Policy analysis, drafting, and advocacy have been Hisyam’s main areas of work, with specialisation in disability, social justice, and inclusion. Hisyam completed his Bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2018 and later earned his Master’s degree in Public Policy in 2025, after working for 5 years in policy research & advocacy. Since mid-2023, Hisyam has been working as part of the REMISI Foundation, devoting his experience & expertise to advancing the advocacy of Persons with Psychosocial Disability’s fundamental rights through research, advocacy, and coordination with stakeholders.
