Nurul Safitri is a general practitioner working in Kuningan District, West Java. He was born in Jakarta and studied at Diponegoro University, Semarang. Nurul is a woman with a psychosocial disability who has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder since 2017. Mental and psychosocial limitations are not an obstacle to her being productive at work and contributing to society on mental health issues. He joined REMISI in July 2021 and is currently active as the Chief Executive.
As one of the doctors who bravely talk about mental problems to the public, Nurul is also actively involved in writing various alternative reports for UN CEDAW, the UPR which focuses on women with psychosocial disabilities and youth groups with psychosocial disabilities. Nurul is heavily involved in promoting mental health issues and psychosocial disability groups through writing and public campaigning in line with CRPD.
